My cover of "As you turn to go", from Stephin Merrit's lesser-known project "The 6ths".
For me, he writes the best love songs. Funny, sad, and sweet.
This is a little live recording. I was playing a quite out of tune Ukelele (sorry, it was the only instrument on hand). Later on, I put some midi keys over the top.
I first came across the 6ths when someone had left a CD of them in a friend's studio on the Scottish borders. We drove around listening to this album over and over, looking at the big wild landscapes - purple heathers and rugged sheep, and sometimes a giant, giant moon in the sky.
This song takes on new significance for me now. I still love it very much so thank you Stephin if for some crazy reason you ever read this.

You can't buy it because I don't know if that's allowed, being written by someone else. But please feel free to download and whatever.
